Beatle juice, beatle juice..Beatle juice

Ryan made a point at the beginning of the season to announce that Paul,Yoko and Michael Jackson finally broke down and let Idol sing songs of the Beatles.

Top 12.

Got to get you into my life – Syesha, she did a good job with the song but it didn’t blow me away. This is one of my favorite Beatle’s tunes ( I only know 4 ) so I will give her a pass. She gets a minus on the flashdance outfit but it’s a “sanging” competition. Simon is on crack with the positive review at the get go, something must be wrong.

Chikezie – Since when did the Beatles sing folk? Oh wait it was a rendition. "She’s a woman" as another new song to the ears of DJRR. The crowd was on their feet. I guess it was good..original. Two thumbs up. I see now why Chiki was doing the Cuba dance. Simon was smiling and full of praise once again..huh what?! But Ryan wiping off the sweat was ……um ..interesting.

Ramiele – maybe joining Danny on the home front. My Ramy was boring. I didn’t know this song, nor did I care. She hit the very last note but by that time it was too late. Oh Simon was back and ripped her a new one.

Jason and his dreds kept the bordom flowing (no wonder I never woke up). If I fell (If I fell asleep). I see him cutting those dreds my April…. Next!

I never liked Carley mainly because she had a record deal BUT this week…my favorite Beatle song EVAH “ Come together” and the black stalettos made her tops in my book this week. I need a longer version for the IPOD. I still think she has an unfair advantage but this week I will let her have it. You go gurl.

David Cook is my under dog pick for top 2, the year of the rocker reigns true. Two thumbs up.

Brooke made me change my top 3 to top 4. Her rendition of “Let it be” had me looking for my lighter and raise my hand in the air. Yes Yes Yes. Brooke played the piano without her shoes. The funniest moment of the night was Ryan holding Brooke’s heels and Simon being Simon, insinuating she may not get the back…too funny.

David Hernandez is getting cocky. Ooops ...maybe I shouldn’t have said that but…he is milking each moment like it’s his last. He survived the annual Idol scandal and seems to be enjoying the attention. He was never one of my favorites. I only watch now to see if Simon slips up again with a second stripper joke. The judges were not amused. Simon said No no no. Oh he sang “I saw her standing there”

Amanda – If I was to change my top 3 to a top 5 Amanda will be in there. She has won me back over. She has a Pat Benatar thing going. Love it. I know she will be here next week.

Michael Johns - boring, moving on.

Kristy Lee Cook’s performance was better with the mute button on.

I hope David Archelleta get’s a Jiffy commercial out of this. From now on I will refer to him as Archie. The kid is going to win but can we limit his behind the scenes clips? He tried to work out “We can work it out”..but didn’t…mainly because he forgot the words. Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Sorry about that.. but he is going to win.

Great review! Now that Luke is gone (sniff...) I think I am rooting for David Cook. He just constantly impresses me by what he does with the songs he gets. Am with you on the Carly thing but she was pretty good. Get Ramiele and David Hernandez outta there!

And I love that "Archie" forgot the words. I was reading somewhere that him and Miley Cyrus should just go on tour together and be done with it!
