It is just proof that FOX and co. PAID..PAID..PAID to offset Heather Mills and her divorce settlement.
Amanda sang “Back in the USSR” – This wasn’t one of my favorites from her, actually it was the worst of the last three performances. BUT..she has finally broken out of her scary shell, looking hot (even her under arms) and having a good time. I don’t see her going home this week. Just okay for me.
Kristy Lee aka “shoulda left last week, and the week before that” was B*O*R*I*N*G but sparkley. It wasn’t until halfway through the performance that I knew I recognized the song (Hide your … ways?) She was BAD. If she stays another week. I will be really really really pissed. Then again she challenge to blow Simon out of his socks…now that would be great tv.
“Archie” – (long and winding road)I had to watch his performance twice – looking for bruises from daddy dearest. I can sorta appreciate his sappy back stories now since the news of his pops being “stronger then usual parental influence.” I guess he did alright. He remembered all of his words but “didn’t blow me out of my socks.” Just okay for me.
Simon said he was masterclass...sympathy, don't you hate that?
Michael Johns – (a day in the life) VOICE CRACK! Buh bye! He didn’t even have the moshpit’s attention. Dang, Kristy is going to stay another week. Have you noticed how Simon says sorry after crushing the idols’ dreams?
Brooke – (here comes the sun) Oh man, the sunshine twirls across the stage was straight out of American Juniors. She could have done so much better. It was interesting watching her calm her fans from attacking Simon and his critique. (So sunshiny) She was not one of my favorites this week but grading on the curve – she is still in my top 3 for the season
David Cooke – (daytrippers) !!!! Chris Daughtry with hair!! I called it the year of the rocker early on. I am heading over to itunes and do a download. If this was ebay,his feedback would be A+ + +. Since when does DJRR rock out? I am getting tats next week. Simon didn’t like it –who cares.
Carley – (blackbird) (Yawn) This is such a rollercoaster week. Everyone I loved last week didn’t wow me this week.
Jason (Michelle) Okay, Jason is almost as annoying as Archie. He is being crowned as the breakout star of season 7 – I don’t see it. This song seemed to go on forever. Looks like I will be saving tons of $ on itunes this week. Paula almost said she didn’t like it.
Syesha (yesterday) Hmmm, I have so many versions of this song – Marvin, Supremes & EnVogue. I don’t know if I liked it or not. It was different and she made it her own.
Chikizie (just seen a face) Didn’t he do that last week? He was good but I can’t help but think that was a repeat from last week. Plus, I didn’t know the song..where was “Help”? Again, my favs from last week didn’t come to the show this week.
Ramielle (Shoulda known better) 10 points for the hat, (minus 8 points for the slippery shoes). The song was okay, she didn’t blow until the end.
This theme week was a bust for me. The week goes to David Cook!
